Global startup investment hits a record US$510B in H1 2026
The AI boom pushed both funding and exits to unprecedented levels — but most of the money went to a very small group of companies.

Crunchbase data shows global startup investment reached US$510 billion in the first half of 2026, the highest level ever recorded. In July alone, global funding was roughly US$65 billion — double the same month a year earlier.
