A Capital Pool Company lists on the TSX Venture Exchange: a public capital route for small companies
Georgia Street Capital Corp. completed its IPO and listed under the CPC model — raise first on a listed shell, find the operating business later.

Reuters reported on 6 October 2026 that Georgia Street Capital Corp. completed its initial public offering and listed on Canada's TSX Venture Exchange as a Capital Pool Company (CPC). It is small in size but notable in mechanism: capital is raised publicly first, and an operating business is attached later through a qualifying transaction.
The structure is in the same family as a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) but far smaller, and it serves exactly the companies capital markets usually skip: private businesses too small for a conventional IPO, yet real enough that early shareholders need liquidity. In effect it is a public funding channel for small companies — the same territory crowdfunding and angel investors share.
