Google opens an AI startup corridor from Southeast Asia to Silicon Valley, with Vietnam's NIC and SIHUB
A three-month, equity-free accelerator taking 25 startups in its first cohort, starting August 2026, with public-sector partners in Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam.
According to Google Cloud, the company is setting up an AI Startup Innovation Corridor linking Southeast Asia with Silicon Valley, with partners EnterpriseSG (Singapore), Komdigi (Indonesia), NIC (Vietnam's National Innovation Center) and SIHUB (Saigon Innovation Hub). The Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia runs three months, is equity-free, and is taking applications for an inaugural cohort of 25 startups commencing August 2026. Google says its initiatives have helped more than 200 startups in the region raise US$6.6 billion since 2018.
