According to Crunchbase News, San Francisco-based Cognition raised $2 billion in a Series E and was valued at $48 billion. Its best known product is Devin, an autonomous software-engineering agent. Crunchbase places Cognition among a highly funded group betting that AI agents will take over increasingly complex coding and development work.
