Southeast Asia's capital map, August 2026: 15,333 funded companies, only 1,484 past Series A

Per Tracxn (updated 1 August 2026), Southeast Asia has 170,166 tracked startups, of which 15,333 have raised funding, 1,484 have reached Series A or beyond, and 67 have become unicorns. The two most-funded sectors are logistics tech ($21.1 billion) and payments ($20.8 billion), spanning more than 3,331 companies. The region has also recorded 2,938 acquisitions as of August 2026. Among active investors, Tracxn counts East Ventures in 370 rounds and Antler in 167.
